Chocolate ganache is one of the easiest sauces to make and can be drizzled over any cone for some extra decadence!
The secret to delicious and simple chocolate ganache is using the right proportion of 2 key ingredients. Dark chocolate & heavy cream in a 1:1 ratio!
For every ounce of chocolate used, the heavy cream should be matched. EQUAL PARTS
5 ounces of chocolate = 5 ounces of heavy cream etc...
What to do:
- Pour the cream into a small saucepan and place it over medium-low heat for a few minutes, just to get it hot.
- As the cream is heating up, chop the chocolate into small pieces.
- Place chocolate into saucepan with cream and stir. Keep stirring until all chocolate is fully melted and the mixture smoothly comes together.
- Remove from heat. Let the ganache cool down or enjoy it hot!
